Event has been subjected to blockbusting

Celebrating an event in a car you like is an experience like no other. Hogmanay is the most important night in Scotland, and we thought we would celebrate it in the Land Rover Defender. Even though due to the pandemic, there won’t be much crowds and fireworks, there are some ways to celebrate it.

Previously, the event has been subjected to blockbusting and commercialized celebration, but it’s canceled this year, so it was an ideal chance for us to go on a road trip. We thought we can discover other ways to celebrate and welcome the New Year. This includes a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Robert Burns, who has provided a global anthem for the New Year. We recently found out that a bat box is easier to build than a luxury grand tourer. So, to find more about it and know why the company is showing so much care for wildlife, we went to the factory.

The first thing we needed to decide was what to drive. You may not agree, but it was a pretty important decision, you want something comfortable, but also something that can make a journey memorable. We thought, like the poet, we should find something that can do well in the city as well as in the wilds. So, we choose the new Land Rover Defender 110, which has been reborn and reinvented.

We traveled north to span Fife and then head to Perthshire at a comfortable speed. We got to our first stop at Inshriach Estate after 114 easy miles. Before we were to go on our journey, he wanted to see how our new model can handle the challenge. He had marked a little circuit for us.

After traveling for about a while, we got to the village of Comrie. There, the local officeholders told us about the Flambeaux, a local Hogmanay ritual.
